I printed out this photo yesterday (along with a couple of others taken in Hawai‘i), and stuck it on my wall, right in front of where I sit at my desk to work, in place of a calendar with snow on it. I see snow outside; I don’t really need to see it right in front of me while I work (sorry Mum—don’t worry, it’s still on the wall, just not right in front of me).
I had just listened to a webinar in which the speaker stressed that in order to achieve our goals we need to remember 4 things:
- Be Focussed
- Be Committed
- Be Consistent
- Be Organized
My goal is to return to Hawai‘i, sooner rather than later. So, in order to focus on my goal, commit to it, be consistent with my action plan and remain organized, I have put this message right in front of me. It will remind me of my goal every day (and when I see snow outside, my office will feel warmer and brighter, just by looking at my photos).
As it is two years to the day since I took this photo, I decided to share it with you here. I have another with a message on it. I’ll post it the day after tomorrow.
